What Pregnancy Care Looks Like at Core Connections

1
Build Your Foundation
When: Early pregnancy or as soon as you begin care
What: We start with a thorough assessment to figure out the baseline status of your pelvic floor and surrounding muscles. We also look at things like strength, hips, low back, overall mobility & movement strategies.
2
Support Your Changing Body
When: As your pregnancy progresses
What: As your body adapts and your baby grows, we help you stay comfortable, mobile, and strong. Sessions often include hands-on bodywork, movement strategies, and guidance to ease or prevent common aches and optimize your pregnancy.
3
Prepare for Birth
When: As you get closer to birth
What: This phases focuses on helping you feel ready for birth. We cover things like learn how to push, strategies to reduce tearing, perineal
massage, breathing techniques, labor positions, partner support, and more. We welcome partners or trusted family/friends to join as well!
Plus - Early Postpartum Support
When: The first 6 weeks after birth
What: Our Pregnancy & Birth Prep Program intentionally includes guidance & support in the first 6 weeks postpartum, when people are often provided very little resources or guidance on recovery. We provide extensive information in our Postpartum Playbook and include hands-on support in the clinic to help navigate any issues and prevent future issues, learn how to optimize early recovery and get back to daily tasks, exercise, activity, and intimacy. Care may extend beyond the first 6 weeks depending on your body and your needs. We also welcome littles to join during your postpartum sessions!
